Volunteer to Collect Signatures

It’s a long road to the ballot but Ohioans are fortunate to have direct democracy!  After the Attorney General and the Ballot Board approve our submission, we will begin our large-scale signature-gathering effort. The Attorney General certified us on May 22, and the Ballot Board is schedule to consider our proposal on May 30. We expect to have petitions in the field within a day or two of the Ballot Board's approval.

We will need to collect 305,591 valid signatures of voters in order to qualify for the ballot. The issue could appear on either the November 2017 or November 2018 ballot, depending on how long it takes to collect all the signatures and raise the funds needed. The deadline for 2017 is July 5. Petitions filed after July 5, 2017 will appear on the 2018 ballot.

It will take activists from all over the state to put congressional redistricting reform on the ballot.  Will you help us collect signatures? Simply fill out the short form below.
